Reputable Certifications for Sales?

What's the take on earning various Sales certifications online? Do you find these impressive when looking at a LinkedIn profile/Resume?

Some examples include Aspireship's SaaS Sales Foundations, HubSpot's Inbound Certification, JB Sales' Filling the Funnel / Driving to Close, etc.

I’ve often wondered the same thing.  Unfortunately, for sales in general there is not a formal body that is recognized for certification.  There are certain industries that are regulated and have certification like insurance or financial services, but other than that it really doesn’t exist.

If you’re a solid rep who hits quota the certifications you mention might give you a leg up and who your ambition to learn more and better yourself when compared to your counterparts.

However, if you’re not hitting and have a poor track record no amount of credentials are going to help you.

I’ve been meaning to get a Google Analytics certification but can’t comment beyond that.

I’m certified with HubSpot, Drift, Salesforce, SalesLoft, Outreach, and DiscoverOrg/ZoomInfo. It doesn’t really mean shit unless I go to another job. So, if you don’t plan on leaving within cert expirations, it could be worthless. I’m certified due to the nature of my role.

personally, if I’m hiring, I’d love to see that the person I’m interviewing supposedly knows their shit enough to be certified in it.
