Beyond implementing and managing Stripe as a billing platform for a product (including the HubSpot integration), I have not been on the sell side. That said, I am a fast learner.

Are you meaning experience in selling or do you only want specific finance solutions.
I’ve done quite a bit and love how it’s never the market but always the candidate when the market is brought up.
I’ve sold $15.5M ARR (IT services, cloud, data,
Security, staff aug, project management/business analyst services, managed service, managed security, IoT, etc.)
I grew one of the largest independent beverage bottlers from $300k to over $7M ARR in 7 years and grew one of the largest Finacial institutions an additional $3.2M ARR.
So are you looking for people who can build relationships with CxOs and decision makers, change the perception from a vendor to a trusted advisor or someone who can sling a product because I’ve done both.
If you would like to talk, let me know and “I’ll be your Huckleberry” but if you’re just throwing out that you’ve hired some people, I’m happy for you and them and wish you the best.

The market is an issue, but I’m replying to the post! This is someone who is commenting on not being able to get in. If you can’t get in, then it is you. If you get in, and the market shits you on, then it can be anything (the market, your boss, luck, that 3rd martini, anything).

Also @financeengineer, ironic that you posted about this same issue like 9 months ago (yep I also research who I’m targeting) so I’m glad things have changed for you. Truly, no one deserves to be in the hell that is the job market.

It was a tough one, but I found a way to make it work through my network. Just like I’m going to try to help out PBC.

Edit - and I didn’t research you or tour backstory. You posted about an issue, and I gave context based on your post. I have interviewed a decently large subset of people who have been out of work for various reasons - and I’ve hired 2 so far.
