SaaS AE pay

Hi Team,
For those of you that work in SaaS sales roles could you share your base and OTE? Also how many years of experience do you have? What's the reasonable expectation if I am new to it?
Thank you!

Check LinkedIn for an idea of the average pay in your area. It will vary by location.

I would look at RepVue homie. Ryan Walsh (CEO) has done all the data collection for you to see.

This will vary wildly based on experience, target market, company, industry, location, etc. There's really no solid average. Bravado did a nice break down on this a while ago.

Definitely check out RepVue. There are so many factors to consider, location being a huge one.

Your mileage will vary. There are still a lot of factors that will influence base and OTE.
Lowest I've seen is 50-60k base and 100k OTE, highest are enterprise reps pull over $200k base and double OTE.

It can take a while to build up to significant money. You'll need to work the process and move up the ladder. It doesn't happen right away.

That said, there is a comment about making sure you can live on your base, not counting commission, and that is solid advice.

Not sure if anyone would directly share it here @angelalu. Check these 3 platforms to get a decent idea on base and OTE:
1) RepVue
2) Glassdoor
3) Linkedin

this can vary so much depending on the industry, company, experience, etc.

For example I've been at companies where AE's are making 120kish, and I've been at companies where that's SDR money and AE's are making 350+.

Check out RepVue to see what the companies you're interested in pay.

70/70 split seems like a common starting salary for a AE but there's no right answer -- check LI, RepVue, Glassdoor, etc.
