Set this deal up my first month at my company. At the time it seemed like it was going to be a fast close as they appeared to want to move fast. Originally at 400k. Every time they would come back with updates it extended the projected close by about a month but also increased the price tag so I didn't complain too much.
Finally send out invoice and contract Friday of last week feeling like this is finally it at a price tag of 630k only to get another requested change and price increase yesterday. The response to the increase was along the lines of "yeah that's not possible for us we are going to have to pass".
Needless to say I was losing my shit. I kept my calm and did the usual follow up. Call, nothing. Email, nothing. Text, nothing. About 2 hours later I get a resonse from my text and am able to come to a preliminary agreement that needs approval. Notice of approval at 9:45 last night. Hashed out final details and got the contract signed and wire recieved today at 4:30.
