This deal was pretty quick moving, all together took a month maybe. Got an unexpected email from the prospect this morning basically asking for split payments (we typically do annual upfront). I gave him a call and just asked if this was gonna slow things down, he was honest and said no he was just seeing if he could get it. This helped reaffirm the need to stay firm- what you think could be a dealbreaker often is the prospect fishing for deals. Order form was signed a few hours later.
