Dude this has BEEN happening since I called this out on my last two posts. I was told via email he was leaning heavily towards getting rid of public profiles and during his AMA he promised communication moving forward, which also has not happened. Nothing has been resolved.

@Gasty I still get connection requests as well even though profile is not shared.

Help me with some data pointers here to help you better:

1. How often are you getting these connect requests?
2. How many at a time?

I have gotten a few more, usually one invite at a time.

And do you actually know any of these people, or are they coming from random unknowns?

But why does that quantity matter? How are they making a request to a profile that isn't public?

My best guess would be they are coming through some old notification to those users, from before you made your profile hidden.

Which is why they’re just a handful, and not like 100/day.

Regardless, this will stop happening if you’ve hidden your public profile now.

Default profile should be anonymous on mobile app for users , who are already posting as anonymous on desktop site. This will be fixed soon.

can you take my suggestion and have them move that toggle to the settings where it belongs and discontinue having it in the text box? This will help solve any potential "accidental Doxxing" like what happened to me yesterday.

PBC pointed it out to me yesterday when I replied to his comment and it changed to my personal profile as a default without my doing so which then made me go back through 5 different posts and have to delete my comments as I accidentally doxed myself, pretty easy to tell as it was a multi-comment thread.

Either remove the feature or put it in settings so that it isn't right in the comment text box.

Can you simply divorce my LinkedIn completely from my profile? I don’t even login with that info anymore (using Google). I still haven’t met anyone that appreciates the feature, and the real identity posters have the lowest quality posts on the site.

This question has been brought up several times PBC. I would like that option as well.
