Sales Certifications/Trainings/Actionable learning

I'd love to know what experiences y'all have with any types of certifications, trainings or just learning platforms you've invested in and seen positive results from in your careers. I'm feeling like I'm not learning a lot at my current org and would like to improve my skillset and be able to apply it to continue progressing in my career and also add to my resume as well.

  • Sandler training certifications
  • Black Swan Group Negotiation certificaitons
  • Canadian Professional Sales Association Cert
  • John Barrows new Sales on demand platform
  • Challenger

If anybody has completed others would love to learn more

Sandler is basically the core of what every "sales guru" tries to sell off in the future.

GAP Selling is good for Outbound - Challenger is good for Inbound.

Do you have a budget set aside or are you "just looking?" . Are you doing it for a certificate or to get better? There are so many great free resources to gain knowledge and access new tools.ย

Bit of Both, I want to improve and increase my earnings. Also been some time since I was in a formal learning setting, and have never been for sales specifically (outside of internal training at past orgs) Feel like interacting with live online classes can learn from the course and the participants. Would like to earn a certification as personal achievement- budget $1500.ย

There are so many and I've seen some that are really similar. If you're bored with the current role /trainings maybe train in something else like six sigma, coding, etc and diversify?ย

I enjoyed a negotiations training out of a group in Boston. BATNA was their philosophy, it wasn't totally game changing but i liked a lot of the negotiations pieces especially how to deal with silence.ย

Few others to note i have taken in the past couple years-ย

Winning by design, put my SDR team through with them, pretty solid training on how to be brief and sell in digital age

Bridge Group- creating powerful short messages content varying and specific for selling post pandemic, persona based and cadence scripting, solidย
Force Management- ex copier sales guys very sandler esque but solid principles in building champions and metrics. Positive business outcomes and really getting deep and dirty in a deal!ย

I had my team go through John Barrows online training. Very good fundamental training for outbound and then managing opportunities. I would also highly recommend Winning by Design. They have online courses.ย
