Sales cycle whilst WFH - quicker or longer?

I’ve read some data recently that suggests deal cycles are quicker during COVID than they have been when everybody has been at the office. Data is great but qualitative observation is just as important, so:

What have been your experiences during COVID?

-SDRs: have you been able to secure meetings/demos to take place sooner after the qualification than when you were in the office?

-Closers: have you been able to go from demo/engagement to close in a shorter cycle? What have been the key factors in your opinion?

I’ve closed what took me a half year to reach in 2020 in Q1. That being said it’s more just my chickens finally coming home to roost rather than a faster year.

Overall the feeling I’ve been getting from friends is everything moves just a bit slower now

longer...way longer...hard to get all parties on a zoom room, was much easier when we'd all be in a board room
