Sales Methodology

As an aspiring AE, I know there is tons of training/frameworks that are out there.

Also, every sell is different, I get that.

Which methodology have you personally used and seemed to find the most success with?

I saw there was an updated MEDDIC (now MEDDPIC) and thought about checking out. But, there’s also Sandler and others that I’d hate to pass up if it’s worth it.

Sandler does a bunch, there’s dale carnegie trainings, MEDDPIC is more a framework to get to the questions to ask that are important to your DMs but you need to do the dirty work to get there and earn the right to ask the questions. Honestly there is nothing that replaces first hand experience and learning your productΒ

Yeah, I knew Sandler was up there. Is it training that’s updated or has it grown it be irrelevant?

I had some training in challenger and value selling. Both were interestingΒ

I’ve heard good things about Challenger as well. Who was the Value Selling done by?

Zig Ziglar is still relevant.Β  Mike Weinberg/New Sales Simplified, Neil Rackham/Spin Selling, Anthony Iannarino/The Only Sales Guide, or Todd Caponi/The Transparency Sale will give you an MBA in selling.
