What's your favorite performance enhancing drug for sales?


Note: I said ENHANCING. While we all know that cold calling while on the devil's dandruff can be thrilling for us, I don't think your conversion rate is going up.

May not work for everyone, but laying out your day in a "burst capacity". When I was an SDR, I worked really well by organizing my day in bursts, followed by a quick decompression/rest. Make 30 calls, 15 minute walk/break/stretch/something different than working. And repeat that the entire day. I came back after the breaks energized and ready to attack.ย

Personally, I'm a big fan of green tea. Same energy as coffee, but less jitteriness / crash.

After C4 and Jack3d were causing crazy heart palpitations I switched over to Yerba Mate. It is a type of tea from South America that has a pretty intense caffeine hit without the crash from coffee. There is a brand Guayaki that makes flavored versions that are pretty damn good.
