Sales podcasts

Hey guys,

I'm thinking of starting a SaaS sales podcast but only if there's validation that there's something missing in that space. My question is, if you were a listener, what would you like to learn from interviewees that have been in the sales game for a long time? I.e VPs and directors of sales from top SaaS companies.
Would like feedback that's perhaps unique and not already common in the sales podcasts we all know and love.

Thanks

Something like "Missing Richard Simmons", but instead of looking for Richard Simmons, you're looking for the neighborhood where Brian Burns strolls around to film his awful videos.

Finale is you find him and hit him with your car.

I smell a Webby award!!!

I haven't found a podcast that keeps my attention. This one absolutely would. 💯🔥

Call me what you want, just sign the damn contract
All of his videos make me wonder “are you rich or do you just like in a really low-cost area?”

It was only after watching his videos I became convinced that sending video email was about the stupidest thing ever.

His podcast isn't too bad when he has someone relevant on and he doesn't talk over the guest.

I'm gonna be blunt with you here....nobody wants to listen to your podcast about sales advice.

There are already dozens, if not hundreds, of sales podcasts where execs and interviewed. If you want to try it, by all means, but you'll need 1) a very unique spin on the idea and 2) access to really high quality guests to stand out from the pack.

I think there is a big market for helping people who are new in their journey to learn the tools of the trade.  How to prospect, How to account plan, How structure a call, etc...  Thats what I'd like to see and hear and be able to share.

Preface: 30MPC is a great podcast content-wise. however am I the only person who thinks the one guy’s voice is absolutely unbearable?

Seems pretty oversaturated, if you don't already have a compelling differentiation there's probably little point to doing it, quite honestly.

Do a podcast if you have something to say or you think you can monetize it.

The angle you’re taking here likely means you don’t have a unique reason to shout into the void. Unless you actually have an interesting point of view, I wouldn’t bother. You’ll just be adding to the noise.
