Sales Resume Recommendations?

I've been with my current company for 2 years and I'm ready to move on, but my resume needs a bit of updating.

I feel as though putting your stats on a sales resume is a challenge. What might be a large deal size in your current company could be considered small potatoes to another.

How has everyone been building out their resume to showcase their successes to prospective companies?

What's been working? What should I avoid?

I had this convo recently with a sales hiring manager, and he agreed on the deal size point. So what I used was historical percent to quota, close ratio, and any top rep recognitions. So for me, lifetime 128% to quota, 58% CR, and recognized as the top rep on my team on 4 separate occasions. Sent it out to some friends and they all agreed it brings good pop without making you look like small potatoes etc

Absolutely! It's all good ways to target key numbers without diminishing your skills due to small potatoes like you said. Glad this helped!

Numbers/percentages matter. Keep this in mind.

It's all about how you position yourself in the interview, if you can show 100%+ achievement, you will get the call. At this point its how you differentiate and DQ them in or out. Remember its their role but your career. Career trumps role. Don't worry about what they look for, focus on how you present yourself
