Sales tooling

Hey all! I'm consulting a company to relook at their sales process & tooling.

They have close to 30 SDRs + AEs.Use the below tools:

  • Outreach for sequences
  • Apollo for contact enrichment, and database management
  • Orum - for parallel dialer
  • Warmly for website visitor tracking
  • Demandbase to consolidate intent data across platforms.
  • Sales Navigator for account mapping
  • Hubspot for CRM
  • Dripify for LinkedIn automation
  • Avoma - for call recording

Is this the norm for a revenue team to use so many tools? Isn't there any consolidated tool?

I understand that Hubspot launched a sales hub but looks like not a lot of people buy it as their sequencing is not on par with outreach.

Similarly Outreach does have Kaia, why would someone use gong/avoma/fathom when they can just add Kaia add-on for their sequencing tool? Looks like I'm missing something here.

What would you do differently from the tooling perspective? Appreciate your ideas and suggestions.

apollo does sequences and dialing. they probably could use SFDC as well.

completely agree, SDFC integrates with almost everything. Salesloft has call recording, calendar link etc. on top of sequencing and dialing.

SFDC Sales Cloud + HubSpot marketing is a solid play.

That's a shit ton of tools. Super heavy stack that must cost A LOT.

Not sure what could consolidate all of that, but I'm curious how you got this gig.

Yeah, this would be a good story. If you're retooling an org, do you have a vision in mind and a stack you've used that works well?

Pretty geared up on the sales tech stack. I have 3 of the following. I recommend your IT person to audit which of these tools is actually in use by the sales resources.
