Sales Tools: How do I use these things?

Bravadians,

It's 2021, if your organization wants you to be successful, they are purchasing different software tools for prospecting, follow-up, deal-management, etc. I myself use ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Navigator, Crystal, Edgar, Dux Soup, and soon, Bravado (can't wait).

Through the years, I've had the pleasure of using and successfully executing results with the tools I've been given. Currently, a long with crushing my quarterly number (just in case you wanted to know), I am training reps on how to effectively and efficiently these tools to maximize their time, usually saving hours a day.

If you use ANY sales tool, even the ones not listed, and you'd like to understand how to best utilize your tools, post it in this chat. Myself, and other Bravado members (no pressure) will offer guidance and KPI's to every tool you list.

If you have seen my last 2 posts about sales tools, instead of training you on the full product, I'll highlight the BEST ways to use the tool, save time, and increase performance. If your company pays for it, they are watching your usage. It's one of their KPI's. So you can avoid it all you want, but you better have a strong explanation why during your manager one-on-one's.

I'm still learning ZoomInfo so I'm no novice. What would you say the top 3 tips are for ZI?ย

Enhance, Intents, and the 3rd is based on your industry.ย  ย
First things first, have you uploaded your account list into Zoom?ย  If not, that's where we need to start.ย  If so - I'll have you bringin' the heat in no time!

Don't forget to turn on the new salesforce sync feature in ZI.ย  Sooooo useful in filtering and searching accounts, leads, ownership, etc.

Does it mess with the contacts you already have entered in SF? I don't want it "updating" my shit automatically you know?

I don't have that integration, but here is a pdf that will thoroughly walk you through it.ย  I know what you're talking about, and I'd be curious to know that for sure:

https://www.zoominfo.com/business/mktg/knowledge-center/di_training_manual_interactive.pdf

My suggestion would be to download the outlook/Gmail integration for salesforce.ย  Can be found in the play store of Microsoft store - This will show in Salesforce after being sent.ย  This is huge for me because it detects the recipient, finds the opportunity, and I can attach it directly to that opportunity; and if there is a reply, guess what happens?ย  YUP! same thing.ย ย

Hope that's helpful, CF.
