3-months in at a digital freight company, and well, it's rough.
Gone from SaaS where I leveraged multi-channel to beat target to cold calling SME's off a list who have no digital presence and mainly getting stuck with GK's who pass over sales@ emails.
Sold on the sexy boutique customers when I signed.
Targets are high, the commission is low and doesn't contain an accelerator. (New plan was being developed during my interview)
Promotion min 2 years.
Positives - about to have a fat series B and the base pay is ahead of the market by a few G's.
Senior AE's say it should be better once things cool down by EoY.
Currently planning on trying to crush Q2 and if it doesn't happen reaching out those feelers.
