Take it as a sign, and plan moves just in case. For me I personally just keep tabs on the recruiters hitting me up so that I can make a move if nessecary

I’m cautious of job jumping from sdr to sdr because I basically throw away all the time invested at one company and then have to restart - thoughts?

Depends on your career goals honestly. I jumped to another company as I was given a transfer to nz to escape covid but told to return  back to aus even though we were wfh.

I even took a  10% paycut for this job.
But now I don't have set hours, can take PTO when I want and can worm anywhere in the world.

I want to run my own startup in like 2-3 years so im not fussed about moving up the chain so much,  plus I know aes who are 50+, plenty of time to get there.

It depends. Does the company have different divisions like SMB/mid-market/Enterprise? Sometimes companies will still promote from within, but will want people more experienced for larger and more complex deal sizes

Need to network with managers on things like this.

Call me what you want, just sign the damn contract
Companies should hire a mix of both. Do you have relationships with some of the direct managers? They might be more inclined to tell you the real deal.

Don't be worried until you have a reason to worry. Based on this information it's totally fair to ask about the opportunities that you do or don't have now.
