SDR Activity Breakdown

Hey Everyone, I'm currently an SDR for a 3PL who focuses solely on OB sales. I'd say over the past 6 months 85% of our meetings have come from Email-> booking warm calls. Last week though our emails got popped for spam & blocked by google... Now our director is insisting we still have to find a way to hit quota and this should be easy...


I get the smile & dial mentality but most of these businesses don't have phone numbers to reach out to and i'm wondering has anyone gone through something similar to this or figured out the best ways to book meetings without their best tool?

I work in Europe and they have introduced GDPR. aka, you can't email anyone anymore unless they have opted in.

our new business development playbook consists of calling, linkedin and secretly still sending out mass emails. (less than in the past)

every organisation will get roadblocks into prospecting. my recommendation is to listen and see what the top performers do.Β 

for me that meant change from email first, to linkedin&cold call first. it worked for me. might be different in your sector. However everyone has a cell phone, so there are enough ways to reach them.

Totally agree - we use LinkedIn a lot to get the initial connection/first meeting with prospects
