I wish I didn't think I was such a know it all. Advice, keep learning, be humble, watch all the Gong calls of other AE's to learn, and don't cave so easily the first time pricing negotiations come up!

100% this. I stopped being the friendly guy, and went into being the friendly, but when we talk about money I am a stone. (Greyrock)

Congrats you have superpowers of knowledge and resilience from the Enterprise arena! So you're not walking into this blind.

Stay humble. Make friends with other AEs. Yes, we love to help/guide in any way we can. We think it shows courage when you ask for help, and I've made beautiful friendships with a few along the way.

Be willing to listen, learn, and share your stories as well. You will be great ๐ŸฆŠ

I am impressed by everyone that made that jump in less than 6 months. I have been at my role for almost 6 months and am no where close to being promoted to AE.

Yeah, I think it depends on the opportunity for growth available in whatever organization you are working for. Over a year into my role where I am at and there is not much room for growth here so the only way to get to AE right now would be to leave. However, I was just given a raise, so, I think I am staying for a bit longer to peak out on what I can learn in the industry I am selling into before I move anywhere else. Overall though I am with ya, kudos to all those that were able to make the jump into a closing role in such a short time. Hopefully, we can both get there soon!ย

More gatekeepers in Enterprise. There are less targets available so you have to be smart about it and not spam them. I customize my outreach more than I did in MM where quantity could get you to your number.

It depends on your product suite by my believe is that Enterprise selling is more rooted in โ€œdata collectionโ€ and โ€œinformation gatheringโ€
