Hey all,


Interviewing for a new SDR role and the company wants me to complete a business case (I know..)


Curious if you all can provide advice on how best to answer the questions. Want to knock it out of the park and ensure I stand out. Thanks ahead to any that help out!


Questions:

  • How would you use your first 45 days in your new SDR role?

○ Day 1-15

○ Day 15-30

○ Day 30-45

  • Identify three potential organizations you would prospect and explain why you would prospect these organizations
  • Describe how you would support and collaborate with your closest colleagues (SDRs, AEs and Relationship managers)
  • Describe initiatives and experiments you would like to start and how these support scalable lead generation to increase SQLs

How would you use your first 45 days in your new SDR role?○ Day 1-15 - listening to calls, studying ICP and use case, shadowing top performers, asking llots of questions, spongemode○ Day 15-30 - learning by doing, dialing 50 dials a day, emailing, popcorning with top performers, seeking feedback from mgrs and other performers, bringing recordings to coaches and performers○ Day 30-45 - booking qualified meetings, shadowing meetings set and moving into qualified opps, improving process, organization, finalizing calendar for timed activities like call blocks - bringing customer feedback to team, building objection handling list, building alternate scripts and emails Identify three potential organizations you would prospect and explain why you would prospect these organizations - useless question without background on ur industry and target market. Find current customers and see their competitors. becauise they are in the same space and use case. Describe how you would support and collaborate with your closest colleagues (SDRs, AEs and Relationship managers) - collaborate by listening to recorded calls they have made and doing popcorn dialing blocks with them, staying active on slack channels and asking for feedback/ giving feedback through the above Describe initiatives and experiments you would like to start and how these support scalable lead generation to increase SQLs - Li outreach to groups/ slack channel involvement in icp's, attending webinars of ICP and engaging with users on and off event. Connecting with leaders who are active on LI by first engaging with their content thoughtfully and value driven. Identifying opportunites for company to join webinars, be guest speakers, do podcasts by remaining active on LI in target market social spaces.

You are the king, my friend. I have already submitted my case but I'm happy to report that I had some similar answers. They liked it enough to invite me to the next stage which is a competence interview. I'll be presenting the case and looking to use a lot of what you just wrote as well.

Again, thanks a ton for putting this work in. I really appreciate it. I know it wouldn't be top of priorities or even wants. I'll keep the community posted on what happens.
