SDR Nation - Anyone in here have experience with it?

I am looking to join SDR Nation. It costs $499 for a lifetime membership. Anyone here have any experiences with it? Any other SDR groups you think are better?

Your company might pay for it as part of a personal development budget--check on that first before spending your money.

Agreed. Might as well take advantage of that company benefit.ย

If your company can pay for it, yes but if not, then not worth it. The content here and at SDR Nation is pretty much the same tbhย ย

No problem! I was going to tell you if you have any other questions about it, let me know but then there is no dm on this platform... ๐Ÿ˜…

haha right? We need that feature asap!ย

Are you actively on SDR Nation? Do you take advantage of 1 on 1 sessions? That's the biggest reason I would join it.ย

Yep, I also joined because of the 1:1 sessions but I haven't been satisfied with them yet but I've also been on the platform for a few months only. With the increase of new members, the "top" coaches are always booked, it has become a competition to book someone lol However, they are always improving the community so they bring in new coaches.

Makes sense. They've only been around for what, a year or so? I'm sure it'll get better but as it gets better I bet the pricing will go up lol

I'm very familiar with it and the people in it. I'd say it's 100% worth it. Try to get your company to pay for it though

That's the goal. Working with my manager to approve it. He's thinking of getting our whole team on it. Glad you think it's worth it.ย

There is way too much free content available to justify paying $500 in my opinion.ย

While there is a lot of fluff on LI, there is still a lot of valuable information. I suppose if your time is that valuable and you would rather have the searching/sifting done for you, then join SDR Nation but I got promoted without paying a dime for information.ย

Great advice. Not sure I want to splurge $500 but hopefully my company will pay for it.ย

If your company will pay for it, then 100% go for it! That would be awesome.ย

That seems like a lot for content you can get for free or I'd rather pay for an actual course or something.

Agreed. I was thinking if I could get it for free from my employer then I'd do it and use it as a resource but I don't want to just splurge $500ย

It's worth it in my opinion, + if you're a true sales savage $500 isn't that bad ๐Ÿ˜‰

1. It's a community specific to sales dev. some of the content is repetitive but I have learned new thingsย

2. Corporate Bro sometimes makes appearances at meetingsย

3. Lots of networking opportunities. I've booked 3 meetings with the connections from SDR Nation - 1 deal ended up closing and that more than paid for the membership feeย

As a member of SDR Nation, I think it's 200% worth it and if you have a professional/personal development stipend at your company, use a piece of it on SDR Nation!

@TheRealTommyCallahanย

I paid the $500, on top of my sales โ€œbootcampโ€ and degree and so far Iโ€™ve received some value back.ย

What they offer is more individualized than War Room. Yes this place is great for groupthink and advice, but there I can schedule a weekly one-on-one coaching call with a different SaaS leader every week.

Put it this way, things like Bravado are great, with that being said, it also says something when SDR Nation hostedย @GeneralCorpย on a Zoom call with Sarah Brazier (one of my fav LI sales voices) for a 1-on-1 AMA with Corp.

They both serve a purpose.

I did not know about this with Corp being on it. That's amazing. I am still working out having my company pay for it. I'm hoping I can join.ย

I got accepted into SDR Nation but once I found out that I had to pay I was turned off. There's a lot of free resources out there. Plus one of the main promoters of SDR Nation has lost my respect over time with all their spamming on Linkedin

when i was 19 i was an assistant account exec and it was the best sales experience i got. made me who i am today. embrace dialing 200 numbers per day and hitting the phones. those skills are invaluable.
