In my opinion owning that relationship from start to finish eliminates any gaps that can slow momentum or cost you a sale. It probably is going to mean less demos and I realize that. But the customer experience and conversion rate are much better. I donโ€™t have good data behind that off hand, but thatโ€™s what I see.

Depends on the sale and product.ย  I ran full cycle in more transactional sales and smaller tech companies. Now in the big software space with SE to explain function, i prefer the SDR to qualify as the deeper the cycle goes an AE can only own maybe 20 deals at a time, companies die if no prospecting can happen.ย
