SDRs, mix it up and make that shit fun!

Being an SDR, especially being new to the game, can get mundane and old really fast if you don't make it exciting and new.

Have fun with it. You'll actually enjoy work and your personality will shine through on your calls making you more human and people will at least listen to you.

In my first SDR roll I started doing my cold calls with different accents. Got a lot of laughs from coworkers, made it new and exciting. But most of all, made me more successful and confident on the phone.

People like talking to people with accents. I found more folks willing to hear what I had to say and consequently, more demos set.

Did you ever get called out? I would not be able to remember what accent I used for who.

Haha a couple of times. It wasn't hard to stay on track as I only did it with accents I felt I could portray accurately. Surprisingly when I would get called out it led to an even better conversation as I always owned up to it. Didn't happen often, but when it did, there were plenty of laughs

I see what you mean but it's just not my style. I rather just be me, be relevant. As far as having fun goes, well jokes and being on the look out for funny ass names will never get old.Β

If that's how you get more comfortable on the phone my respects, and continue to get after it!!
