The CEO posts about his mansion and driveway of Lamborghinis all the time. It’s a get rich and keep the employees poor attitude, but are we surprised? They are a baby ZoomInfo and that org is full of unscrupulous and dishonest sales leaders.

This is not surprising whatsoever. We tested out their product for a while and it was terrible. Not to mention their salesperson was promising the world and using high pressure close tactics. Awful experience.

On top of that Brandon Bornancin is the most obnoxious person I've ever come across. Huckster salesman.

Their whole pricing model seems to be a race to the bottom.

I love their "name your price" emails.
They usually come a month or two after you purchase ZoomInfo.

Half the AEs at seamless are on Bravado. I know cuz I used to be one.

For what it's worth I know the management over there keeps an eye on most social outlets about seamless. There is no way they aren't aware of that post considering how much traction it has received

They jumped on my ZoomInfo bashing, which included a big thumbs up to Seamless. 100+ employees must have liked and commented…and their head of marketing promised me swag. That was months ago and I’m not holding my breath.

Who do you currently use for your lead gen? I'm looking into Lusha, but would love to hear your thoughts.

Never evaluated Lusha, and I just started a new role and we aren't using any platforms as our ICP isn't really represented across the major players. That said, I am team Seamless. Great product, awful humans.

PBC, any impact from what I read about the LI Sales Nav plugin? Is that no longer working?

Was investigating it but got caught up in other things, but still curious.

I've never had good success using Lusha.
My go-to is to pay the overpriced bill for ZoomInfo and keep a single license of Seamless to fill in the gaps.

The trick is to use Sales Navigator to find the people then use the ZoomInfo extension to export them to your CRM. This way you get accurate job titles.

Except that ZoomInfo rarely has the emails for everyone on a LinkedIn search.

Yeah, that part does suck. Usually, 1/3 of the page doesn't have an email address that ZoomInfo knows of.
The pandemic has lowered the quality of their data because they don't have the business card collection and registration info that comes with in-person events to rely on.

Copied and pasted from Wayback Machine:

Preface: I see Seamless.AI referenced often on this sub, please do not purchase their services, please do not work there. You are being lied to and gaslit every step of the way.I am a former employee of Seamless.AI. A few months ago I posted about my working experience there as both an AE and SDR, as my experience was poor and seemed to align with the experiences of other former employees. Little did I know the stories that came my way via comment or PM from former employees or customers would be 10X worse than I imagined.

I will list below a conglomeration of personal experiences as well as firsthand accounts of sexual misconduct, blatant racism, and business practices of questionable legality.Truthfully, I am still wracked with guilt over some of the things I saw and did while I was there. The farther removed I am from the experience the more I realized that we were essentially scam artists. Trained to badger our prospects into submission, and prey on the vulnerable (primarily the elderly). You sell at all costs. The tool itself is essentially a webscraper combined with Malware. The second you integrate it with your CRM seamless pulls every last bit of contact info. It states this within it’s privacy policy. AEs were often trained to say that we were a LinkedIn partner and our chrome extension is clear to be used on top of SalesNav, but in reality it is a banned extension and your entire LinkedIn Account can face immediate termination if you are caught using seamless. The “AI” that helps verify whether or not an email is valid and provides you with “verified” email addresses just uses a simple [email protected] scheme. It is rarely correct.

Seamless has zero regard for the National DNC Registry even though essentially all the SDR team does is hammer the personal phones of C-Level executives. Nor do they pay any mind to call recording laws, whether the prospect was in a two-party consent state or not all calls are recorded and frequently listened to and mocked by internal staff. Many former employees were terminated under deplorable circumstances, I’ll list a few below:

Fired because Seamless was “unable to accommodate” their Lupus treatment leaving the employee without coverage in their time of need Fired during scheduled and approved PTO without warning or cause Fired for clocking in during mandatory overtime Fired and subsequently sued for a frivolous reason (this was a common occurrence)

In terms of sexual misconduct, I once witnessed a female colleague get propositioned for Oral Sex on a large company wide Zoom. She quit within days and it was never addressed. The N word is thrown around very casually and often in a derogatory manner. You’d be hard pressed to find a single person of color in the entire sales org.Spectrum Equity, a well respected private equity fund known for funding many very successful startups invested a large sum of money into the company and when it was announced we were told this would lead to shares for all, raises, and a higher headcount. But none of that ever happened, however our wannabe influencer CEO Brandon Bornancin just so happened to buy a brand new lakefront mansion in Florida within a month of receiving Spectrums funding. Which seemed a bit off for all of us. You can see that Seamless.AI appears in Spectrums 2021 investment portfolio for verification as their full portfolio is publicly listed. It would seem Brandon is using Seamless as a piggy bank to fund his Gary Vee/Grant Cardone lifestyle and persona hoping that he’ll be able to fake it until he makes it.

In short, don’t work here, don’t buy their product, don’t interact with Brandon Bornancin on LinkedIn. Please share and crosspost this to relevant communities. Seamless.AI is toxic and gives anyone who is proud of being a sales professional a bad name.

Glad I’m not the only one who finds him cringy as hell. Brandon Bornancin was on the Surf N Sales podcast a while back, and Richard Harris called him out on his shit for not directly answering questions and just using metaphors and talking about meeting Gary Vee.

Former seamless ae here and while I can’t confirm all allegations the place is a total shit show. The amount of “questionable” situations I witnessed or was forced into is shocking.

Sure but in the interest of not doxing myself… they notoriously threaten former employees with legal action.
“It’s like cowboys and Indians and you know what happened to the Indians” - Brandon
A prospect signed an agreement thinking he signed for the free trial when in reality he signed for the full service, expressed to his ae (on a live ae room) that he liked our tool but wasn’t ready to sign but probably would w/in the month and for the ae to please void the contract…… the ae was forced to execute the payment.
Minimum 1 ae per month was fired
The explicit reasons for term were shared with the team.
Ae termed without cause or notice inside of 45 days.
Ae termed on pto
Ae termed for time missed due to chronic illness
Ae put on pip for time out from hospital stay
“My favorite thing about working here is you can work 40+ if you want to win” Mike the vp of rev gaslighting aes into working nights and weekends.
SDRs work 10-30 hrs off of the clock weekly
SDRs literally book and force hold literally anything and everything with a pulse not because they’re dumb and don’t get the icp but because leadership has such a hard on for meetings held they’re forced into it
I for sure could go on and on…. The vast majority of former seamless aes have landed in unicorns and big dog fortune 100s.

Glad to finally see their shady platform and tech get exposed - I work for a competitor and many of their clients are reaching out after a terrible experience with their email deliverability. Bad for the buyer experience since they'll come to expect similar behaviour from salespeople and are in general, bad for the industry

Brandon Bornancin was on Art Sobcziac’s “Art of Sales” podcast a while back, and I just had a feeling he was full of it. Love Art’s podcast though - it’s a shame that people with not the best intentions get spotlights and shown in high regard.
