Selling a gig economy platform

video cover

Hey everyone,

I quit my corporate gig (gasp!). I have been helping my friends with sales and marketing strategy in their tech start-ups for a few years in my spare time. I finally decided to take the risk and go after this passion of mine.

This is my first official full time start-up job and the most freedom and responsibility that I have had in my career.

I was just curious if anyone on here had any experience in setting up tech platforms to scale.

Cheers

Are you selling to PTs or facilities who hire PTs?

What incumbents are you competing against and what are your unique and defensible differentiators?

Is the name of the company PT Nurse? Becuase that is going to be a really difficult and/or expensive thing to advertise online.

These are all great questions. PT stands for part time. Essentially we connect nursing professionals with facilities that need open shifts filled. The main competitors are traditional staffing companies and some similar platforms. The biggest comparable competitor we have is IntelyCare.ย

The main differentiator is price and complexity. We charge less, pay more, and accomplish the same thing as our traditional competitors in a fraction of the time. Apart from that we are still building.ย

Gotcha. I assumed PT was "physical therapist".

I have a tech platform that scales. I have a long way to go yet, but have decent traction right now. Please let me know what specific questions you may have

Depends on which function do you want to automate? Support? Ops? Sales?
