Does anyone have experience selling for an IT reseller? CDW, Arrow, Ingram Micro etc. Good or bad experience, comp, things like that.

TL;DR: they SUCK.

I never got to know Arrow nor CDW but I can tell you the same 4 things about Ingram, Synnex (former Westcon Comstor) and ScanSource:

1. Pandemonium of disorganization
2. Overwhelmed and underpayed Account Managers and Partner Account Managers, each handling 5 times their actual capacity to serve.ย ย ย 
3. Shittiest Sales Enablement of all the markets in the world (0% customer centric - they have no clue what their solutions actually do for the customer's problems)
4. 20-45 days to get a quote

I have multiple years experience and it's been a grind. Long quote times, bad shipping times, something gets installed wrong. Be ready to pivot a deal around 2-3 times.
