Selling from home

Curious to understand how everyone else feels selling from home Vs selling from the office.

Personally I look forward to days in the office, but with the majority of time from home.

2020 was grim at times, days of "pandemic has stopped play" and having nobody around to just lay that off on was tough.

Its also a huge resource loss, sitting on a sales floor and you can't help but learn shit every day from those around you. Now you gotta go to <insert call listening software> for that.

Buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut wfh is pretty dope a lot of the time ๐Ÿ˜

Does anyone struggle to stay motivated at home or have you just got the routine nailed?

Some days I feel really productive and enjoy it, some days I miss the office. You just can't replicate the shit talking and banter virtually.ย

I ended up putting time blocks on my calendar to stay focused in the WFH era. Prospecting, outbounding, email follow ups, etc. Obviously if something comes up that I need to prioritize I will do that first, but having a similar routine each day helps.ย

Also ramped up the volume in the group chat with the few degenerates I am closest too.

I find that wfh has led to work bleeding into my mornings and nights far more than it used to. Everyone is working a kind of flex schedule now.ย

I love WFH and can assure you I will not be returning to an office regardless of whatever corporate strategy comes down.

I find it significantly easier to focus and grind out my work early in the day, which opens my afternoon up to be quicker and more reactive to customer needs. I break up my day with a couple of walks outside with my dogs.

I also frequently go work from a coffee shop or even a local brewery in the afternoons to switch up my settings. I have some co-workers who meet me for these afternoon "work from wherever" trips, which keeps me from feeling completely cut off from my team.

As quarantine lifts and gives us more flexibility to make WFH feel more like WFWherever it will give us all the benefits of the autonomy and flexibility without the isolation. I look forward to increasing the locations and people I work alongside in the afternoons!
