Selling to sales— best company to be an AE for?

I've been selling B2B sales software the part three years, and I absolutely love it. it's my
passion.

my current company, while I love the product in theory, there's too many red flags about the company's success (200% sales turnover, no one has made plan ever, we're close to the same ARR as when I started 2 years ago, and so many barriers with CS that I feel like I can't do my job and also make customers successful)

it's time to look. my base is amazing for a commercial/mid market rep, and I love that space as opposed to pushing enterprise.

any recommendations on good places to start looking with a kick ass product I can actually get behind as a seller?

I'm in SF but prefer remote!

Are you talking about selling sales enablement software to sales orgs in other companies? Or something else?

We use both Ambition and Gong, so I interact with those folks quite a bit. Everyone that works there seem to really love their job and company.

If you're looking to sell to sales organizations: salesloft, hubspot, outreach, or gong (if you can deal with the gongster lifestyle)

SFDC is still hiring even though they did layoffs, if you are trying to sell to sales leaders that can be of interest

Do you have a network of peers you can ask? Those are people who can also advise you about whether their company is a good place to be or not.

125, it was 100 to start. Is that comparable there? I sell to 1500 employee and under

That's pretty damned good.

I would try to milk that for as long as possible. In your spare time, be prospecting people direct for new jobs. None of that, let me apply first nonsense. Talk to people first, get them to ask you to apply, get them to recommend you internally.

Don't forget to write out all the things you like and do not like about your job. Do the same for the past jobs you had as well. Really good way to avoid re-living the past in your next role.
