Sending blind docusigns....

I've seen a few posts about blind calendar invites and whether or not you should send them...

Anyone ever try sending a "blind docusign"? I have to say, I've done this before when warranted. Ex- Have an intro and POC call with a customer that tells me he has a hard deadline on the last day of the month and she/he stops answering emails or calls halfway through the POC. I might send him a docusign with a note that says, "Haven't heard from you in a bit, but I know that your deadline is fast approaching. As soon as you execute the docusign we will get your licenses provisioned and you'll be in compliance in time!"

I've had a decent amount of success with this, usually with smaller deals that are $5k or less.

This would not work whatsoever with my clientele but glad it worked out for you.

Same here. I've heard of it working for my friends in other roles but not in my industry.

I have absolutely sent a hail mary or two like this, works like 1/10 of the time but its a rush when you get that signed and filed email back.

If nothing else is working then yeah why not? Clearly there was a need and it's our job to make buying an easy decision at the end of the day (as long as we have done our job of the discovery process).

Idk why the thought of doing this is so cringey to me but seeing that many of you had success with it, maybe I'll give it a go!

Oh it's cringey...but when they're ghosting me anyway, it's never been a make or break for any of my deals. I recommend using it sparingly though 🙂

Wow, that's amazing. I've never done that because I'd assume it would upset the prospect. What industry are you in?

Cyber Security SaaS. Like I said above, it's usually on smaller deals where they've given me a specific deadline they have to meet. It's usually a last second hail mary where either they sign, or it's going closed lost.

Damn that’s interesting. I think I only did it but nice with a renewal, before I went on PTO

I would say if you're connected with the individuals on LI or other social platforms you're probably ethically safe to grab that contact info. In a past AE roll where I was also managing my own accounts I got really tight with the majority of my clients so I had almost all of their contact info. Came in handy more than once
