I recently had a client I was working with, I had set the appt as an BDR but got back into it a year later when I transferred to an AE..Well...I finally got an appt with him and I went there.(It is a school& the dude is a pastor and the CEO of the school.) and he was a little flirty but I bypassed it and pitched him on the things I offer, he was so excited and ready to go...(I should have known) lol so I put together a solution for him and went back about a week later to present it and have him sign. He was so excited and gave me a hug when I walked in..(I have had ppl I am working with give me hugs before) I was a little meh about it haha, but whatever. HE told me to hold on he was gonna talk to his partners before he signed. He then comes back and asks if I will be in his music video as the person who introduces him. I said only if you sign..so he did and I followed through with my end..(he apparently is a infamous singer that worked with warner brothers) I left and within 5 mins of me leaving, he started to text me telling me I am cute....my natural response was like wtf..I texted back & said thanks but I am MARRIED and this is business. He called me right after and started going off about how he has $ and that he can be an amazing man and that he is married too, but that he can still be just friends, and that he was getting a divorce...yet he still wears the ring..lol. He kept trying to convince me to go on a date with him. I refused, and he said okay (very disappointed) I came back and low and behold the business credit is shyytt..lol so I worked with him on doing a rental agreement instead. He was fine with it but had to put up almost 1k up front but it covered his first 3 payments. HE was all for it and telling me "I can afford it, you seen my 400$ Jeans"..(he was bragging about them during the music video lol and they still had the tag on them) So, everything is good to go and he keeps causally texting me and me ignoring him..( he was asking if I was still married..if I wanted to grab lunch and catch up, ect) SOOOO...we are trying to get a hold of him to find a date to deliver his items..and he was not answering for almost a month. ( he was even ignoring me) So I finally get a hold of him and tell him he needs to call my dispatch team and since we had a huge delivery going out it will be like 2 weeks before he got his machine. He was upset (like its my fault lol) He wanted to know if I can do a project for him he needed done for his release of his album since he wouldn't have the equipment he needed since we can deliver ASAP...( I WAS ANNOYED LOL since he was the one who held it up) I worked on his project and told him to meet up with me to give a sample, and then lmk how many he needed. He said yea, and I met him at the gas station near my house..( he didn't know it was near my home) he called me looking for my car when I got there and I told him where I was and he was like oh cool im heading to that side and when I see you I am gonna give you a hug and kiss! I automatically said absolutely not. I told him if you're going to be like this lmk now so I can leave, and his response was you act like i am gross..I said NO, but I AM MARRIED!!!!! ( HE IS GROSS THO LMFAO) So when he pulled up i got out the car so fast and handed him the sample and started to walk away. ( YES I KNOW I AM DUMB) lol. He loved it and I told him we do have to charge for the project for the materials. He got mad and was like why if I am gonna buy something for you guys and its your guys' fault that I am not getting it sooner and I straight up said well if you would have answered the phone you would already have your products. He laughed and said he would let me know...then 3 weeks go by and he never called my team and my team had been continuously reaching out...I texted him and called and he ignored me. I texted him telling he had 1 week or else I couldn't hold hit items anymore since it has now been like 2 months, and he hasn't given us a time to deliver. 2 days later he said what do I need to do and I said call my team or answer their call and answer the questions, set a date for delivery, & how you would like to pay upon delivery. He said okay how much is it again. I told him the exact price and he didn't answer. We tried reaching out again and I texted him and no answer...I texted him the 7th day and he was like WELL what do I need to do I repeated it all to him and then he went silent...so at 5pm that day I told him I did all I could for you and we can longer hold your items, so if you decide you do want to do this again in the future, you can let me know. He ignored me...lol. I was so grateful. I was over it and over his nasty behavior. Needless to say I have not been giving my cell number out so freely anymore to clients...been strictly using my work # and then telling them to communicate with me via email!
