So sick of seeing people NOT wear tuxedos on plans.ย  Don't want to be a part of this world anymore...

Right? Is this some sort of unwritten airplane etiquette I've just never heard of??

Well, there is certainly some airplane etiquette but it's not followed. Shorts wouldn't even ranked in the top 25 even if I did have an issue with it.

I agree, my top one is never to clip your nails on the plane

Eh, it's kinda off putting when some stranger that you're going to be stuck next to has his shorts up thigh high in an enclosed space. Nobody wants to see that

If you're wearing 5" inseam chubbies then miss me with your harry hotdogs. However, the right short can fly...pun intended.

Athleisure all day. I've been a big fan of adidas or underarmour upscale sweat pants lately.

Planes are nasty so I typically wear pants but I see nothing wrong with wearing shorts.

Let's say you're going to a work conference (not till the next day), have the option of either since it's a temperate climate, what do you do?

Travel in business casual for work, always. Never know who you're sitting next to.ย
For leisure travel... who cares, be glad they are wearing pants. *looking at you Spirit*

I donโ€™t think I actually care. But I always wear a decent outfit. But Idk maybe itโ€™s because my dad is one of the VPโ€™s of Delta. So growing up, all of us kids had to look presentable when flying LOLย

Big fan of shorts, but if you travelling somewhere new better go with pants only to avoid looking like a tourist.

I always wear shorts on an airplane. I get hot easily and it's more comfortable. I pack pants in my carry on to put back on in the restroom if I am flying to a cold place lol

Jeans and polo for every flight. The way people travel now, I wouldn't want too much skin exposed and I still think flying/aviation is amazing and like to class it up a little.

Why not? Unless you're going to a job interview right off the plan, shorts, leggings whatever you want. I just personally do not want to see your toes, please wear socks.ย

No problem with ย shorts. I kinda hate flying wearing a suit tbh. But sometimes it s the only possibility. Ideally just some sporty casual outfit is perfect for flying.ย
