Should I get Pavilion/Revenue Collective's membership or something else?

My company offers an annual 1,000$ learning and development stipend, and thought I might use some of it on the Pavilion's membership. But I'm debating if I should invest that money in something else.

Pavilion (Revenue Collective) is starting a new program for BDRs, and the annual membership is 250$, which includes 3-4 courses that are 10+ weeks long, Career Services,1:1 mentoring, networking opportunities.

Should I go for it? If you know what other training/courses I should do, let me know! I have a few months left to spend that stipend, and I have no idea what to do with it ๐Ÿ˜…

It depends on what you want to learn? Do you want to learn how heavily VC funded SaaS companies BURN through cash like its going out of style in an effort to acquire new clients at any costs in hopes that the company sells or IPO's - then Pavilion is for you :)ย  Ping me here in the WR with whatever career advice, mentoring, etc ya need - I'll send it your way without the $250/annual membership.ย  Seriously though, use it for masterclass, and audible - consume diverse content, be a renaissance person, not listen to some blow hard talk about "how they were successful ramping from $2 to $10 M in MRR" (ugh)ย

Yes my Lord. Iโ€™m looking to to potentially move into an Ops role but donโ€™t know yet if thatโ€™s the right path. Can we chat?

Canโ€™t speak to the learning and development areas, but Pavilion is great for networking and job searching if that is also of interest.

Yes, these are of interest. I was more interested in the 1:1 mentorship; do you have any experience with that?

I've been curious about this as I know several people that are involved, but don't really want to ask them about it for reasons...

Definitely curious about insight our fellow savages may have.

SDR Nation would also be a good program to look into if youโ€™re looking to skill up as BDR. They offer mentoring and all the same things. Look into both and weigh your options. I think SDR nation might be a cheaper option and much more specialized for your particular position.

I'm actually already part of SDR Nation, but now that I have that stipend, I wanted to know if I should add Pavilion.

How do you like SDR nation btw? Worth the money or nah?

Itโ€™s fine. Not great, but not bad either. I liked it more when they had a Slack channel, they recently changed to a new platform, and itโ€™s harder to know whatโ€™s happening & connect with other people. If your company is paying for it, why not. Otherwise, it really depends what you are trying to get out of it.

I am apart of it and have found it valuable, also helps the company is paying. Great for networking and my next goal is leadership and have a mentor that has been awesome and they do a "frontline leader" school which I may do starting later in the year.
