Currently I am working an inside role that I am doing well at. I am on track to be promoted from an account representative (Entry Level) to an associate account executive (Step below AE) July 1. I do enjoy my role now but just know I will go crazy if I sit in the same desk making cold calls and worrying about how many calls I made that day. The company I work for tracks calls for everyone in sales minus Directors,VPs, etc so basically the next 5 years I will have to make 60/70 calls a day and metrics are important. I love sales for the relationship buildings and understand making your actual sales metics are important. Just do not want to be worrying about how many calls I have years from now. So asking the war room for advice?
Should I leave my inside sales job if I think I want to do outside sales?
