Should I leave my org?

Hey War Room fam!

I’m in a pickle here.

I’m in a pretty good spot inside of my organization (inbound SDRs filling my pipeline, my manager is good, pay is not horrid but not great). I don’t necessarily like who I sell into but it’s not horrible (HR). I really enjoy talking with product and ops people when I get a chance to though.

I try and take interviews for orgs that either sound cool or would be a potential career growth opportunity. And I’ve gotten pretty far down the road with an organization that seems like a similar fit (though grass is always greener) and a small pay increase from what I’m making today.

Happy to provide any additional details if needed but curious on the communities opinion on this one.

If you’re asking yourself whether or not you should stay, chances are the answer is no. Granted, it sounds like you have a pretty decent set up but if you’re not stoked to work there maybe it’s best to find something else. Plus going for the option where you get paid more is always a smart move in my opinion.

Not sure how long you have been in sales, if you are still less than 5yrs you should be chasing growth over $. If you are going to leave your current role find a replacement that offers you both.

This might be basic advice but a good exercise is making a T-chart and mapping out the pros and cons; getting as granular as you can... should help you reflect. Good luck!
