Should I stay or should I go?

Yes, go ahead and hum the fucking song after reading that title.

I'm at the best company i've ever worked for right now.

Things were going great with almost no negatives in sight for over a year.

Everything took a crazy turn recently. Leadership hires are extremely questionable, key people are leaving, and quotas have increased massively(our number will never be attainable).

An absurdly low percentage of all AEs(~50) have met their quarterly goal this past Q. I don't even want to say the % because no one would believe it. I am highly confident that pipeline is not only not going to increase but it is going to start going down, QUICK.

At the very least you take a job with 100% OTE in mind but I did not anticipate getting paid off of 60%. It is extremely alarming. On top of not getting paid, our new leadership is terrible to say the least. Probably 1st/2nd worst manager I’ve experienced in my life.

Do I stay or go? I am getting multiple recruiters in my DMs every day for some great companies. My OTE is pretty decent and most of these DMs are coming in at at least $100k more and a few at more than double 😵‍💫 And I interview better than actually perform so I could land these gigs.

Idk if I should wait another Q and try to ride this thing out because I do love my company and most direct leadership is some of the best i've been under. I'm not sure how much longer I can go hitting ~70%,

Leverage what success you do have now to get a better job, before it gets so bad that you’re stuck trying to peddle mediocre numbers. Just like selling high and buying low.

Start interviewing.   You haven't gotten an offer yet, just solicitations to start the process.  The good thing is, you know what's out there now, and honestly, you're being given significant uplift.

You don't have to accept any offers if they're not good enough to get you to leave, so there is no harm in starting the process.

Finally, this exact thing happened to me, and I held on longer than I should have, because I had been with the company for a long time and truly believed in the overall vision.   Don't wait until you're in a financial hole before you jump, and I strongly suspect it will not improve.   Heck, you might even be discussing my former employer, and if you are, it will not get better, and sales leadership will not care.

Never say no to talking to a recruiter. You never know what they have and even if it’s a no for now, the next time might be the one.

Also, never hurts to interview either. It’s a good skill to keep sharp.

You may love your company, but that’s a 2-way street.

Start looking now. It's a great time, and it doesn't hurt. If you haven't checked, look at RepVue for company reviews and quota attainment.

My philosophy is never say no to a conversation you’re interested in having. If nothing else it keeps your interview skills honed, and you keep a finger on the pulse of what benefits are common out there.

Sounds like you should jump to me. Before that though I would have a super candid conversation with leadership, this will help you and the company in the future even if you still leave. See if they can convince you to stay.
