Should I take this as a red flag??

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO...I have been talking to a guy online for a bit and I was suppose to fly out this weekend to go meet him and go as a date to a wedding. WELLLL low and behold my daughter tested positive for the rona yesterday and I told him, and cancelled my trip...He was disappointed AS was I, but no my overthinking self is wondering is this a red flag and the universe stopping me Hahaha.

I keep getting this gut feeling he is gonna ghost me when I do go over hahaha

As a guy who dated and ended up marrying a woman who already had kids - we understand that life isn't necessarily in your control like a single person's might be. If he already knows you have kids, he should understand that shit happens. Don't let your thoughts and overthinking ruin a great thing before it starts.

Happy hunting at finding your happily ever after. I had to talk my now wife through a lot of her internal overthinking and it was worth it. Ha, it's a good thing I'm in sales or I'd have never overcome the obstacles lol.

Just be straight forward with the dude about what you're thinking. It's the putting up walls and stopping communications that will kill things. Let him know what your thinking and if you know it's silly, or you need actual assurances. Basically - do you want to vent or do you need solutions. I know there isn't a users manual but we as men aren't telepathic and do a lot better with clear cut expectations.

You'll be fine, just keep lines open and make sure you have a good physical connection - so make any excuse to make the trip to make sure the work and the talk is truly worth it. Nothing worse than putting in the time and there not be dynamite under the sheets for both sides.
