Shitposting is a relative term in my eyes. How do you know Father Corp didn't design this forum for us to run up that commish by posting funny bullshit intertwined with helpful shit? Enough with the gatekeeping.

There should be a limit to how many posts or polls one can make.
Or make a post have certain amount of words to be able to be posted. This way the people who spam must at least think for 5 minutes before doing so.

For sure, some put so little effort in the posts or just spam 14 in 2 days, that aren’t fun and have no value.

To be fair - the nails post is relevant to me. It's something I'm trying to navigate in the corporate world. It's really no different than the "work attire" posts, just more specific.

And I'm going to come out and say it because my therapist told me I should talk about my feelings but THESE types of posts where people are attacking others are absolutely uncalled for. I 100000% agree that on Tuesday, I went a little overboard and had a slower day. I was EXCITED about having a good Q2 and EXCITED that I got invited to the WR but I AM SORRY for being annoying.
With that being said, I was primarily on the app and could not search for previous similar posts- I have since then used the search bar diligently because I am trying to do better. BUT just because something doesn't pertain to some people (NAILS), does not mean it's a waste of time- the fact that NAILS is a concern for women in the workplace is absolutely a conversation that men should become aware of because of how "fucking stupid" it is that that's a concern in the first place!
I like to think I've contributed a lot of good insights (and a couple shit posts) to this community but this shit is what is making me think that it's not worth it and not finding enjoyment in the WR.

I feel ya @CharmingSalesGal- I felt you didn't deserve a lot of that heat. There's a lot of gatekeeping here and users that have been here for a while seem to have more leeway with certain types of posts and are quick to bring judgement on the newbies. Just like anything else I suppose. You'll acclimate!
Don’t you fucking leave @charmingsalesgal . I think you bring a lot to the WR, and I love that you’re not afraid to speak your mind. I’ve got a few haters and I’ll never be the most popular but IDGAF. It has become abundantly clear to me that there is one point of view that will be celebrated above all others.

I like my shitpost when it relates to sales culture,(what type of music gets you pumped up for work, or what kind of prospect is the worst) but I think a minimum word amount for posting should do the trick. That was you have to think a little to start and continue the discussion.
It’s tough because SO many topics have already been covered and aside from sharing deals, there’s only so many given things to cover regarding sales. Some moderation would help as long as they’re completely non-biased.
Definitely should be some kind of limit to how much you can post within a hour or 2 hours timeframe, cos it just gets ridiculous. I wouldn't mind if the posts were helpful or seeking advice but they really are just shit

Yeah, I'm with you. There's also a heavy influx of spam when a new class gets accepted, and that's what we've seen the last couple of weeks. Idk I would assume adding something to the new member FAQ would limit a ton of this.
