Should we be able to know/direct message people on here?

I am conflicted after going hard in the war room, i like a lot of the responses i am seeing and some solid sales strategists in here. But......we cant know who you are or form a real relationship, is this the intended purpose? I get not knowing each others real names or companies but maybe an option to message/connect elsewhere?

Should we make real connections in here?

I think a DM option could be interesting - there have been threads where users talk about misc templates and tools they have, so having the ability to share files/message over DM could be helpful.ย

I by no means want another linkedin but have seen some things i do want to dive deeper on and get more intel and strategy from. Again not sure how to control it and make this not LI, happy medium im sure could be found and might be. Thanks for the answer, good points

I think by keeping it anonymous it keeps it from becoming LI. Like I don't need to know someone's real name, but if they have a really good script for example or a custom discovery template, it would be nice to easily send those one off. That may reduce some of the clutter in the main feed as well...

I prefer the anonymity, I like that there is no bias based on title or clout.ย  Ideas, thoughts, opinions have to be rationalized because there is no presupposition that someone just knows what they are talking about.ย  I'd be down for DMs though.

Funny how timing works because I just had the same thought of wanting to direct message someone . But then I though - oh Iโ€™ll just make a post and @ them. I really enjoy reading everyoneโ€™s advice and opinions. So I now realize if I want someoneโ€™s input itโ€™s just better to post it for everyone to see and @ them so they see it . Then everyone can benefit from my question and their response . That kind of the whole point is for people to share what they know and others to have access . Itโ€™s like asking a question in a class - if you have it someone else probably ย does too...so best just for everyone to hear the response. Idk ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ does anyone else agree ?ย

Agree to a point, but would love deeper discussion and strategy to some points. But putting it for all to see is i guess fine as it is totally anonymous. Im torn really.ย

Yes, then it becomes a lot more like reddit, which is a platform I absolutely loveย

The straight up anonymous has a perk to it and I get it and why they did it, but I still think it needs itย

Mentorship, Deeper dive than a comment can provide, one off conversation if agree/disagree, etc. Lot of scenarios for it.ย
