There is a lot of nuance here. I've worked with SIs and been on the SI side. The big thing here is understanding who wants to do what. Ask the SIs what they actually want and are willing to do. They'll usually be honest. Found SIs that are HUNGRY and have resources to bring you deals. Then build the relationships and start to churn out deals.
