Sleeper commish store item.

in the "credit where due" file, the Nespresso Vertuo espresso machine might be the best value for commish spent in the store. This machine brews a ridiculously good cup. Thick, velvety crema and all. I'm not really a coffee geek. So, while it likely pales in comparison to a real machine, I really don't know the difference. This works!!!

Nespresso makes a great cup of espresso for what it is. You’ll find these on most countertops in Italy.

I have been on the fence about an espresso machine. I just take my coffee black and from a french press or brew it with a phin filter when I want something stronger.

Nespresso is a gateway to good coffee. Not saying Nespresso isn't good, it's very nice but the pods are somewhat artificial, the crema is almost too much. Not raining on your parade, I had a Nespresso for years and loved it, it just got me started on real coffee.

A great commish store item would be a Breville barista touch or barista pro. An excellent, intuitive and easy to use machine that does coffee better than your local coffee shop.

I’ve had the larger version (last or 3 gens ago) and it was been a staple for almost 5 years. The French press was just too much of a mess. Love ordering pods and having them just get delivered. We use the milk frothier (however you spell it) from time to time as well.
