Smart or Dumb???

I just emailed one of my C level execs that their signature line is still promoting the event we held a month ago and that they should change it. Career Suicide or they will totally appreciate it? PS i report directly to them and we have a "good" relationship. Still think i shouldn't of said shit lol.

Yup 100%.

And if they do care find a new job. Definitely don't to work for someone who can't take that minute level of input

Sorry if that came off in a aggressive manner. We all want validation and to be appreciated. In this case though you probably won’t even get a reply and he’ll just change the signature in the email lol. Don’t let not hearing back get to you and something that helped me so much was stopping the caring about what other people think about shit that doesn’t matter.

No doubt on that man. A wise man told me a long time ago "The world conspiracy against you has been called off...........due to lack of interest". Must practice this more in not giving a shit about literally nothing. No apology needed either, youre solid!

You did the right thing. I've emailed mine before because I noticed a spelling error on his LinkedIn post. Look dude, I'm the face of your company in the South. Southern women do not take kindly to being embarrassed. He changed it and shot me a note thanking me for the heads up. Never spoke of it again.

I don’t think it’s either in their eyes. You were just looking out for them. No points scored or lost.

Naw, it's better to say something as long as you did it privately.

If they had food in their teeth, it would be rude not to tell them. Same thing here.

I had food in my teeth last week and had multiple meetings and went and payed softball and one of my teammates said something. Shit was in there for hours. I've lost faith in humanity. Lololol. Thanks for the input though, agreed. I did do it privately.

See! You're doing the right thing by saying something. You should give your colleagues shit for not telling you by the way haha
