Social Selling

I don't know how many of you REALLY participate in true Social Selling. I think we all use LI to some extent, but real social selling is different in my opinion. This poll indicates I'm in the majority. And outside LI, I don't even know where you'd go to try to Social Sell (in the B2B world that is. B2C is VERY different).

Do you truly Social Sell? And if so, how do you do it? Success rate?

I would say less than 10% even do true social selling so not surprised its that low, me being one of them.

I don’t do much at all, only LI, and sparingly. For me, it’s tactical, so very effective when I do use it. But for me, it also has limited benefit.

I find that social selling is more about creating legitimacy. If I’m able to share, post or create subjects that matter to the people I target, when they inevitably look me up, they see that I actually understand what I’m selling and solving for.

Nobody writes a check for 7 - 8 digits from a LI message.
