Someone help me keep my sanity from this stuck deal

How do you keep yourself from losing it in a rage against your prospects who won't sign the damn contract?


I've been negotiating this deal over email for the last TWO WEEKS because they won't get on the phone and they are so slow at getting back. To make matters worse, it's via third party - they're taking forever to hear back from the client and deliver the feedback to me. We've been going back and forth over terms, and I was supposed to hear back today but haven't heard anything.


They've already say that want to move forward, it's just taking SO LONG to hatch it out.


They also aren't adhering to any deadlines because "they need to hear back from the client."


Help. How to not lose it?

Do you have to go through the third party? Can you contact the prospect directly?

Good question - I don't have any relations with them, and I don't feel that it will go well with the agency. Basically - the agency will still be our point of contact as they do these services for their client manually, but now they'll be using our tool to streamline it and just having the client pay for it.

Fuck agencies. They are so fucking pointless. They are supposed to make things easier / faster and never once has an agency done either of those things. 

Why would you pay a firm hundreds of thousands of dollars to do barely any work? Work that a 23yr old meathead could accomplish on a 60k salary. Ridiculous. (I realize there are holes in this argument, IDGAF, let me have this rant)

Go have a beer or something. Fuck.
