You need to nip this in the bud. Bring it to up to the person doing it. Escalate if necessary.

If your teammate's response was good and the behavior stops, consider it case closed, but document everything for your records. If the response was bad and/or the behavior continues, take it to the next level. You gotta take a stand.

Yup. Ask your manager why it's happening and see how fast they get that cleared up.

Take it to your teammate first and if you donโt like what you hear or they donโt stop, escalate it to your manager.

Tell them to knock it off. If they do it one more time, go to your manager immediately. Just a trash way to work
Also, as Fenderbaum said, document. Document the incident, and document that you spoke to the rep.

Yeah, this is bullshit. If you have notes in the CRM on it, then bring it up to management.

Easy. Email them with a screenshot of the phone call notes and ask "Hey X, curious why you called Z! I spoke with them a few days ago and planned to follow up next week, as seen in the notes. Are you checking the CRM?"
Cc the manager. That'll be over quick.

The beauty is you appear to be looking out for them while being a good AE. Then next time it happens again, reply in the thread.
"Hey, same deal with Y. Is it the same case as last time where you forgot to check the notes?"
That way you build your case and your manager is aware of the issue.

Probably throwing them down the stairs since they don't listen.. /jk don't do that.
If words from you don't work, let your manager address it. There's rules for a reason and we are in sales to make money. So don't let people fuck with your money.

This can be corrected with some civility. Try to understand by speaking with them what is motivating them to make those calls. Thank them for trying to assist, then let them know itโs your responsibility and youโve got it and donโt necessarily need their assistance but would let them know if you did. If it continues then bring in some authority to help them understand their role and refocus them on what their activities need to be.
