This deal was sent to me due to a poor experience with a current rep. There are only two of us at the moment and the future customer didn't want to work with this specific personality. Coming into someone else's work and bad experience is not always comfortable. You have to teeter between acknowledging the consumer's feelings while showing a united front with your teammates. After mirroring the future customer's tone and killing them with kindness I was able to close this business 4-days after inheriting the account.
