Spreadsheet list hack

I'm sure everyone already knows about this, but I just found out about this last night laying in bed.


If you want to create a list of companies to go after type this into google:


site:docs.google.com/spreadsheets (insert type of companies here)


For example:


site:docs.google.com/spreadsheets s&p 500 companies


I did this with trying to find online marketplaces and got a list of 585 companies in seconds.

I've done this before for pricing of competitors too, it works quite well. If you type inย 

"[competitor]" "pricing" filetype:pdf
orย 
"[competitor]" "pricing" filetype:pptx

This will pull in only PDFs, many of which are pricing documents or decks.
