Start up any day- wouldn’t want to be lost as a sales number in an org, but actually a part of a wider team. Plus you get to understand better how businesses and other departments actually operate

For me:
Starting out in sales is better at corporate. Getting some seriously good trainings etc.

Upside is probably in Start-Ups, but you need to vest them like a VC.

Start up with the right people. There is something to be said about knowledge transfer in the moment. I felt like working at a "start up" was like getting an MBA in real time.

big firm to start your sales career, and if you like the start up culture, go to it after you get experience. i personally don't like start ups, but i know a lot of people who love selling at start ups

Get in a startup and play mf hardball.  There's no rules and it's better to cover yourself while you're in control/valuable.  As soon as deals don't come you'll lose all clout there so be ready

I like my mentor's comment, "if you want to be the pro in sales in a specific industry, go for giant - if you aren't set on your expertise/specialization, then startup gives you a GREAT diverse learning experience"

I guess the larger the org is, the narrower/more specific your responsibility will be

Start ups are volatile and one bad funding round could be the death, roll of the dice but if the product and leadership are good and path to exit with a piece of the pie, game on
