My question to my fellow commission comrades is what some of the top priorities should be from day 1 as the ONLY sales pro- My first thought is work through the current/past customers and get caught up on the existing pipeline and I have some ideas but I am looking for any and all advice, from targets, to creating a sales process from the ground up, and everything in between...so WHAT SHOULD I DO!?!?! (Some particulars of my situation below)
So I just quit my sales job from the past 2.5 years to take a new opportunity in a much smaller company and team. I am moving on from copier sales co of 250+ employees to a video production house of 6 workers with an emphasis on talent spotlights and product content (positions to fill, new products, mission videos, new HQ spotlights, etc.). The company has done well enough off the relationships the owner has with other area business owners for the past 7 years but wants to see if if they can really start cooking with fire by having an actual sales person - that is where I come in.
