State & Local Government Resource?

This is a very long shot, but I thought if anyone had some insight here, it would be the Savage crew.

If you sell/have sold to SLG before, do you know of an existing resource that aggregates key strategic priorities, by state?

I realize I can flat-foot this and research state by state, but thought it worth a shot to ask if there's a sole source available anywhere. Actually, anything remotely close would be an improvement over 1 by 1.

Thanks in advance!

Well, what industry are you selling into?

Every state has a economic development office which is a good start. You can find key contacts there, build an excel sheet and then drive through it.

That's a great idea, @GrizzleMcThornBody.  I sell technology to these State & Local agencies.  Thanks!

okay so look at each states governor office of information technology. you can then probably drop that into a zoominfo or something and get the key contacts there you can coldcall. also, since they are public employees, you can probably find their direct line on the government website and skip the gatekeeper. good luck.

Deltek. It’s paid for but probably the best SLED resource.

Thanks, @chadilac I'll check to see if my org has access before I dig in my pockets.  This is a good lead though.

@chadilac is right…for an online search query Deltek shows current RFPs and previous Awards and a crazy big database, but not super friendly UX. That said, budget dependent, lobbyists make a huge difference and I’ve found the investment has far better ROI than trade shows and SW tools

That's another vote of confidence for Deltek.  Will be investigating this one first thing in the morn.  Thanks JaySeaman!

@JJASBE worth a look. I’ve sold to SLG/EDU for 21yrs. Happy to help collaborate on your goals

There was an attempted coup, and now an ensuing conflict between warring factions from the establishment and peasant interns.
