Store Sales Rep

Hello Team, Wassup.

So I've just found an online job offer about a sales rep at a store mainly for selling smart phones, tablets and even SIM Cards, the salary is relatively good and even better that what I'm currently getting ,7 hours shift and 1 hour break.

Would I consider a job shift noticing that I'm currently having an SDR role over the phone and got no experience to work as a store sales rep before.

Any thoughts especially from people who worked at stores before or currently working and what are the main skills required!!

If it's better than you're doing and you want to try it, fine.

But retail as a whole doesn't lead to better sales jobs downroad; the path is you'll most likely be promoted to store manager or something like that, but I'm not sure how it works in your country vs the US.

Not yet decided, I value good working environment and good management and for certain a decent payout and a word from people who have experienced the same role before!!

i mean this is really up to you and what you want to do.

i have seen that ppl that are in retail, struggle to get into B2B sales in the future.

but i also have friends that have made a solid career for them selves in the retail environment.

going from SDR to working retail seems to be a step backward. But you do what's best for you.

That is all up to you, understand in retail you will be dealing with the stereotypical Karen's and Ken's that are just miserable people and want to make your life hell.
What others have said before, people in Retail make good careers of it and they do move into Store manager/division manager and so on but do what you think is right for you.
