did anybody of you recently changed his role from an it vendor dinosaur to a start-up? how did this work out and what would you conclude about it?

  I did. Not for everybody. Also depending how big is a start up and at what stage. My reco- do your own research (little presell exercise), I literally called potential clients, before I made the move.

 Also, it is up to your preference, me I hate internal bureaucracy, more than I like the benefits/ brand recognition that dinosaurs have. Some people thrive better in a standardized environment.

Always worked in small to mid-size and really enjoying the startup life. Get to wear a lot of hats but can get frustrating at times. Definitely not for everyone. The equity is nice though being employee #1.

Yes 100% it makes your resume more attractive but, I’d be curious your reasons for leaving. The startup life is great and you have way more input but they’re likely all over the place and it can get frustrating
